Taking Advantage

As with all causes there are always those that would take advantage of one person’s misfortune and use it for other motives. There has been a movement going on quietly around the country that would create a Communist America. If you know the roots of Communism, you know that it is a movement based on a class struggle between the “working class”, proletariat, and those that hold the means of production, bourgeois. This struggle is usually not as bad as it is portrayed. It ignores that some people have more initiative than others. For the purposes of the Communist cause the picture has to be painted that the working class are being taken advantage of by the rich. This is not necessarily true. In a capitalist society like the United States, all have equal opportunity to succeed and start their own business. Anyone can do it if they have the initiative.

Some people are self motivated and make something out of themselves while others choose to play the victim and try to live off of government handouts. In either case the one that gets government handouts try to justify their actions by playing the victim and blaming their lack of initiative on the rich. This is not to say that everyone that is poor is playing the game, however there are a lot of them that are.  There are those that are actively advocating Communism and an American Revolution to get there. We are seeing these protests going on Wall Street and now in many other cities who’s message is against the rich. For decades we have seen story after story showing how the rich are getting richer at the expense of the poor.  This is not objective reporting because in most cases the corporation’s wealth is completely detached and irrelevant to the lack of wealth of those in the “working class”.  Anyone can start their own business and corporations have no say so in that right.

Those that advocate a revolution are siezing the opportunity and using social networks such as Twitter and Facebook to organize these protests. They are trying to shape their message against Capitalism through revolution.  Capitalism is not the problem and never has been.  As I said before, some people have more initiative than others.  This has always been the case.  A person that has no initiative to become wealthy is not the fault of someone that does.

This talk of revolution cannot be emphasized enough how serious this is. Look up the definition of Revolution. It is the forcible overthrow of the government. These groups have organized themselves by the names “Occupy _____” where you can replace the blank with the city name.  They have web sites, Facebook pages, and other outlets intended to organize people by anger to rise up in the streets.  The original protesters go out of their way to speak against violence but their cause is being taken advantage of by those that do advocate violence.  They are Communist.  You can read their own words on how they feel this new movement needs to focus their message to show that Capitalism is the real enemy.  You can read an article at the Fifth International that says so. Take note of their logo being the hammer and cycle of the former Soviet Union. They are actively trying to anger people to rise up and take to the streets in revolution. If you think I am making this up or trying to inflame the discussion, just look them up. Watch their videos and listen to their message. Look up the web site “fifth International and read their documents. Look up Occupy Oklahoma City and you will see they have already arrived in our own city. Their slogan is “Protest for American Revolution”.  This is the Oklahoma City web site.  They have a Facebook page that is being used to organize their cause.  Their agenda is American Revolution.

The topic of this post is taking advantage.  The taking advantage that I am talking about is when people take advantage of one person’s cause and use it for another. One person’s hardship is exploited for the purposes of another gaining power.   Those that feel downtrodden, less privileged will appeal to this cause and feel a since of solidarity with them.  They may feel that finally someone sympathizes with their unfortunate circumstances.  They do not understand their situation is being taken advantage of by Communists that have longed for a situation like this.  This type of taking advantage is not new.  Jesse Jackson keeps his power by exploiting the victim status of American blacks.  If racial harmony were to ever exist, then there would be no need for him.  So it is in his interest to keep the American blacks angry.  The very nature of Communism according to Karl Marx is to take advantage of a class struggle, real or manufactured, for the purpose to anger the masses to violently overthrow the government and those they see as having power, the bourgeois.

Once this overthrow happens, a totalitarian government must exist to overcome any insurrection by the bourgeois.  They wish to forcibly take the spoils from those in power, or wealth and give the government power to more “equally distribute” this wealth.  What always happens though is that once this totalitarian government takes hold, they never want to give it up.  The goal is achieved where all Americans are equal.  They are equally poverty stricken while the government has all power.  Free speech is done away with because it allows those of opposing opinions to speak against it.  Those that would speak against the state usually disappear and are never heard from again.  Religion is abolished because it gives authority to God and is a potential spark of insurrection against the totalitarian state.  Just look around at Communist nations.  There is no freedom.  There is no innovation. There is no religion.  The people have no freedom.

I know what you are saying.  These people do not want full blown Communism, just Socialism.  Pure Socialism cannot stand on its own feet without becoming Communism.  Even Karl Marx, the father of Communism says that Socialism is a period in time in the transition from Capitalism to Communism.  Socialism depends on Capitalism to survive but has the government to distribute the wealth.  Let us not forget how there are just as many corruption scandals in the government as there are on Wall Street.  The allure of the creation of wealth is directly related to innovation.  This innovation creates wealth.  When a genius inventor sees that his or her work will net them the same profits as a ditch digger, there will be no innovation.  Why would someone put themselves out like that if there was no promise for wealth?  Not everyone is as benevolent as others.   The end result is that in addition to everyone being equal, they are equally impoverished.  The difference is that the government has the power over the people, Wall Street does not.  Capitalism, with its faults is far superior to Socialism and Communism.

There is a reason to fear what is going on right now.  The media has glorified the protesters in Egypt, Libya, and other Arab countries as being patriotic.  The extreme left, of this country is seizing he opportunity to take advantage of a movement that has good intentions but will ultimately result in an overthrow of the government.  I am not saying this will happen but if these people get their way and this continues to grow, it can and likely will result in a civil war.  Please do not take my word for this.  Look up Communism and its roots in labor unions.  Look up what they advocate.  Karl Marx admits that the transition from Capitalism to Communism cannot be done peacefully and must be done by violent revolution.  Again, do not take my word for it but rather look up these people.  You can start by the Fifth International and find many links to other sites from there.

I will do a more indepth post later with more information. I can only post so much on my iPhone without it becoming incoherent rambling.
