I purposely joke about these “Occupy” protesters because they are a symbol of the ignorance that has become the average American citizen. Let me explain…

Yes there are people that are hurting and I will not deny that. My disagreement lies in where the anger is being placed. In life, people have different attributes that make them who they are. Some are optimists, some are pessimists. Some are self motivated while some are not. These attributes naturally have varying degrees. Some people are more aggressive in achieving their goals. Some do as little as necessary to get by. Some do not even set goals. We can all remember how some people in school seem to excel at everything they did while others struggled. Still others could, but did not see the need, so they just did enough to get by. I was one of those that fell into this category. Most people eventually mature beyond this stage and become motivated later in life. Unfortunately others do not. They make poor choices and continue the same mistakes again and again. This phenomenon is true in all areas of life.

Those that have the motivation to do so, work in tough situations to slowly build a bridge out of their situation. Those that succeed often fail many times before reaching that success. The beauty of our Capitalist system is that EVERYONE has the opportunity to be an entrepreneur and start their own company. Some people choose to work for that company while others sit at home complaining that success has passed them by. This is not to say there are not those that genuinely need help. My argument is not with those people. One thing that is often missed in these types of discussions is that among these different personalities, there is always the opportunist. This is the person that sees a weakness and preys on that weakness to benefit themselves. I am referring to those in political power and in the media. Since politics affects everyone, even the media. They, and everyone else has a vested interest in convincing people to believe the way they do.

The opportunists are also in political positions and in the media. They see how the vast majority of Americans do not know what their candidate stands for. All the people see is a familiar name on the ballot, or even more importantly, the words “DEMOCRAT” or “REPUBLICAN”. The person’s qualifications fall solely on their political party. The candidate has no litmus test. If they contain enough skill to communicate rhetoric, they become powerful. The term rhetoric means “The art of effective or persuasive speaking or writing.” Managerial, crisis management, military, economic, and conflict resolution skills though valuable do not play a factor in becoming elected into political office. I know it seems that I am painting with a broad brush here but it is the truth.

Unfortunately because of the dominance of the two major political parties, our country seems to have been split into two separate groups. People are falling prey to these two parties playing their constituents against one another. The opportunists have their key issues to galvanize their constituents into anger against the other party in order to gain power. Solving the issues is not relevant because the opportunist takes advantage of the issue. This is nothing new. The Democrats will tell you every election that Republicans want to “throw grandma out on the streets”. The Republicans will tell you every election that the Democrats are going to tax and spend our country into bankruptcy. They both take a little bit of information that has slight truth to it and then twist it into something calculated and devious just to anger their constituents against the other side. The point is that opportunists are preying on the people for the sole purpose of gaining power. This can be proven by simply observing the fact that every time they make these outrageous claims, and then win, they never fix the problem. The truth is that both sides need the issue more than the solution because their true agenda is not helping America but rather helping themselves gain power.

There are those that have longed for our country to become Communist and have laid in wait for decades working quietly in the shadows advocating Communist values but never using the word. The term Communism is defined as… “A political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs”. It sounds wonderful doesn’t it? There is a popular saying that anything that sounds too good to be true, probably is.

The term Communism has been a taboo in our country chiefly thanks to the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union. These people could never admit who they were because of this taboo. Those in the media have been playing this propaganda game for decades. There is not a day that goes by that we do not hear some sob story about the poor being neglected and exploited by the rich. EVERY day we hear on the news how the corruption in corporate America is taking advantage of the poor. I will not deny this is happening on a small scale and those people need to be dealt with on an individual basis. Since those that carry Communist values have an agenda, DESTROYING CAPITALISM, they exploit these isolated cases to make people think that it is happening every day and that poor people are the victims.

These Communists/Marxists gain power by manipulating the ignorant voter into believing they are victims of the Rich. They never show you that the corruption in government is exponential to that in corporate America. What is worse is that those in government have power to make laws on the American citizens and take away their rights. Corporate America does not. Remember Enron? Once the word got out, they were done. Today there is no Enron. The government gets a free ride in their corruption simply because those in the media have a vested interest in their Marxist values becoming the main stream. Government is their friend. The founding fathers purposely built the government into three separate branches to prevent government from having too much power. Unfortunately, Marxists have infiltrated all three branches of government. The Supreme Court in an activist fashion has taken the “general welfare” clause in the Preamble to the Constitution and changed its meaning. The actual meaning is to create an environment that encourages the welfare of its people. They have twisted it into meaning the government has some responsibility to take from one group and give to another in sort of a “Robin Hood” way…a Communist Way.

Karl Marx told a convincing story about the history of a never ending struggle between the working class, (Proletariat) and those with the means of production (Bourgeoisie). He speaks of the rich being in power and exploiting the poor (working class) in an attempt to get them to become angry and rise up in a violent revolution against the Bourgeois for the sole purpose to overthrow Capitalism. He believed that EVIL Capitalism could only be done away with by the working class rising up in arms to violently take from those that have, and create a utopian state called Communism. In this utopia the government would hold the means of production and property ownership would be abolished. He believed that the abolishment of property ownership was the only way to have a classless society.

Remember the old phrase “All utopias end in death camps”.

He believed a temporary totalitarian rule was necessary because the Bourgeoisie (rich) would fight to keep what they had. He believed that it was necessary to have a strong government to suppress those that would rise up to overthrow this new Communist state. Unfortunately with this comes the loss of free speech, the loss of the right to freedom of religion, the loss of peaceful assembly, and every one of the bill of rights. These freedoms are seen as liabilities that can result in an insurrection and potentially overthrow the Communist rule. I purposely use the term Communism over the term Socialism because in America today, the term Socialism has lost its stigma while the term Communism to a degree still has it. Socialism eventually and inevitably leads to Communism anyway. Karl Marx believed that Socialism was a temporary point in time in the transition between Capitalism and Communism.

There is one thing that Karl Marx never talked about in his writings and that is human nature. It is human nature to desire power, prestige and money. Remember the phrase “Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely?” Once this totalitarian rule is temporarily implemented, the ruler likes his or her new power and does not give it up. Need I list the dictators? One of my son’s friends told me… “Communism is the perfect form of government, but to date it has been ruined by dictators.” That is true because the very nature of humanity is to crave power. Once a system is in place that eliminates freedoms, those that do have power, will not give it up. This will be true in the majority of cases. That is not a risk that is worth taking. It is shocking to me that it has only been since 1991 since the Union of Soviet Socialists Republics (USSR), aka Soviet Union, disbanded and we have a whole generation of youth that have not been taught in school what it was like.

In today’s education, the term “Cold War” has never been connected with the Soviet Union, a Communist state being a totalitarian regime where its citizens had no freedoms. They had their utopia though where all were living in an equal class of poverty. It was not the corporations that oppressed the working class; it was government. I find it amazing how people have become so brainwashed in just 20 years. It is easy to see why Karl Marx believed in a free education for all children. Once government controls education, they control the information that is taught. When we had a common enemy, the Soviet Union, people understood what a threat Communism was. Now that they are directly perceived as a threat, those in our country that wanted Communism, the academic elite, the liberal left, could begin implementing the tenets of Communism without using the name. Once they could get enough people to believe in this way of thinking, they could begin their revolution. What you are seeing in these protests is many people, some genuinely hurt, some lost, and most importantly the activist Communists hijacking their cause in the name of violent revolution.

These protesters started out with good intentions though misguided. They aim their anger at Wall Street because they have been taught for decades by those that have Communist values that the rich are getting richer at their expense. They are too ignorant to know they are being played. Mob mentality lends itself to being manipulated. They do not understand that in a Capitalist society, each and every one of them is free to start their own company. I do not use the term ignorant to mean they are bad. I mean it in the true definition as in they do not understand. They don’t understand they are being played, exploited, taken advantage of by those in political power, not Wall Street. Since the main stream media has the same Communist values, they play along for ratings sake. They report that __ said this and __ said that.

They place themselves as mere reporters while advancing these values. Karl Marx in his Communist Manifesto said that in order to achieve Communism, a progressive tax must be implemented and all school age children must be given free education (indoctrination). This progressive tax is directly related to our situation we have here. The top 1% pay the largest percentage of their income to taxes than any other group. Those that make less than $30,000 per year and have children pay zero in income tax. When they file their income taxes, they are given all of their withholdings back, along with extra in the form of earned income credit and child tax credits. Some people not only do not pay income tax, but get money back that was taken from someone else. The end result is that only the rich pay taxes at all. So when economics 101 says… “in a bad economy you lower taxes and lower interest rates”, only the rich get a tax break because they are the only ones paying taxes. Remember, I am talking income tax.

This is when the Communists come out screaming like they always do. They talk about tax breaks for the rich as an attempt to anger those that pay zero in taxes. It is their hope that the proletariat will rise up in revolution. This is not by accident. This has been going on for decades. So what happens is that you have those on the left, and the media telling only half the story for the purpose of angering those that are ignorant. More “opportunism”. Those in power, government, not Wall Street, offer crumbs in subsidies to those poor people to convince them that their party cares about their plight. This happens while telling them that it he rich (Republicans) want to cut their lifeline in the name of giving tax breaks to the rich. Any proposal that is does not fully and whole heartedly embrace these programs against the rich, no matter how expensive they may be are portrayed as right wing extremists that are ‘”in cahoots” with the rich. This is a complete fabrication that has been created by this progressive tax that Karl Marx loves so much. If his followers can get enough people to believe they are victims, then they will rise up in revolution.

Unfortunately Mr. Marx only tells half the story. He never tells about the dictatorships, poverty, and loss of freedoms that always accompany this utopia. These Communists have moved in and hijacked this Occupy movement for the sole purpose of taking advantage of a rare opportunity. They can take advantage of the ignorance and focus the mob’s anger toward the Bourgeois. I am not making this up.

He mistakenly let it slip what their agenda really is…Revolution! The term, revolution is defined as “A forcible overthrow of a government or social order for a new system.” They want the poor people to believe they are stuck at being poor because the rich have taken their opportunity away. They want people to believe they are victims of the rich and that there is no opportunity to succeed. This is not true because every day there is a new Internet toy that comes out, making another millionaire. The truth is that in America today, people have more opportunity to make a successful living than in any other country in history. It is not Wall Street that is turning the people into victims. The only person that can hold a person back from success is themselves. If the Communists can convince enough people that they are victims, they will give up and depend on government AND at some point turn to revolution. The first part of this has already happened.

To summarize, it is those in POLITICAL power and the media that have no integrity. It is those in Washington D.C. in the Presidency, Senate, House, and Supreme court that are destroying the country. Not Wall Street. Only the Congress can create laws. Only the President can sign or veto those laws. Only the Courts can interpret those laws. It is laws that spend our money foolishly. It is government that is mismanaging OUR money. Wall Street cannot make laws. Even if you take the argument that it is corrupt lobbyists at Wall Street that are buying corruption in the government, you have to acknowledged that it was the politician that accepted the money. It was the politician that gave special favors in exchange. Again, you cannot buy something that is not for sale. It is politicians that are putting our future up for sale. Not Wall Street. Yes, there is corruption in Wall Street, but again that is minimal in comparison to that in the government.

You are being played like a fiddle. You are being taken advantage of just like you think. The only thing is that it is not Wall Street. It is politicians and the media. I understand that people are hurting and that there is corruption in business. It is those in Washington that are deliberately taking advantage of their constituents. Wall Street cannot make laws that restrict your lives. If you want to be angry then focus your anger and demand integrity of your President, Congress, and the Courts. Stop being ignorant listening to the media as though it is the gospel. These people have agendas just like I do. My agenda is to wake people up and understand that you are being played for a fool. Jesse Jackson wants there to be tension among blacks and whites. He does not want racial harmony because his true agenda is gaining power. If racial harmony is ever achieved, he will not have a job. In the same manor, those that perceive themselves to be victims are being played by Communists in order to achieve their ultimate goal…Revolution.
